Maurice Pillard Verneuil (1869–1942) was a French artist and designer closely associated with the Art Nouveau movement. His work primarily focused on decorative arts, including wallpapers, textiles, ceramics, and posters. Verneuil’s style was heavily inspired by nature, featuring organic forms, flowing lines, and intricate patterns drawn from flowers, plants, animals, and marine life.

He was also influenced by Japanese art and the Symbolist movement, often incorporating exotic and stylized motifs into his designs.
